Participants will learn positive leadership skills, practical strategies and tools to increase engagement and collaboration. Each component of the tailored package will improve individual performance and collaboration, resulting in better business outcomes. The skills learnt will enable participants to manage themselves effectively so they can manage others confidently, they will get results that deliver tangible personal and organisational improvements, along with learning new strategies to enable them to deliver a culture of self-led improvement.

The package cost is dependent on individual needs but typically a package can range from $3000 - $5000 per person. less

The New Zealand Certificate in Business First
Line Management (Level 4) is interactive, practical
and enables participants to learn authentic
leadership skills. This programme is workplace
based, focussed on their industry and supports
business principles. The aim of the programme is to develop front line managers and leaders.

Programme Components:

Module 1 (half day)
Leadership, self-leadership, team development, roles and responsibilities of a leader

Module 2 (half day)
The performance excellence cycle and process

Module 3 (half day)
Communication, behavioural styles

Module 4 (half day)
Giving and receiving feedback, managing and dealing with poor performance

Module 5 (half day)
Coaching for high performance, active listening and questioning

Module 6 (half day)
Personal efficiency and effectiveness, work habits and time allocation

At the end of the programme participants will receive a nationally recognised qualification in first line management. They will know how to use their
new skills to lead and manage people. They
will learn positive leadership skills, practical
strategies and tools to increase engagement
and collaboration.

The programme is 6 half day modules (workshops) delivered over 6 months.
