Analyse – getting to the root cause of the problem and prioritising the potential solutions
Improve – trailing and implementing the preferred solutions
Control – recording the changes, measuring the new performance level and establishing a control plan to sustain the gains
Included in the course is an additional 3 days to provide practitioner training for Design for Six Sigma for new concepts using the Define, Measure, Analyse, Design and Verify (DMADV) roadmap.

This is a series of workshops designed to develop teams understanding and implement 5S in their own working environment.
As part of the process of implementing 5S many organisations conclude that their systems of stock control require an overhaul and a systematic approach to improve and sustain them. Kanban systems ensure that stocks are managed and sustained, that excess stocks are eliminated and a safe low level of stock replenishment is applied and maintained. This is a simple card based system which once implemented can be incorporated into a CMMS or stock electronic control system. Kanban systems can reduce stock levels without introducing frailties in to the system. The client will need to commit to ensuring key personnel are available for the two hour workshops every two weeks for a series of 16 workshops. The expected outcome is a safer more organised working environment with a simple stock control system of consumables has been established. The cost for this course is $6400.00 plus disbursements.

This is an experiential simulation. Based on a simulated manufacturing plant. The "Game" starts from a chaotic business as usual baseline and as the teams develop, they begin to recognise problem, and solve them in order to improve the productivity and quality. Based on Lean principles, the team learns together in all too familiar circumstances. Typical issues: Cost to manufacture, quality, flow, bottlenecks and teamwork. This is a one day course and it is recommended for a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 16. All participants receive manuals and guides that they will be able to use to help them apply their learnings in their own workplace. The simulation has several contextual formats, designed for non manufacturing organisations, such as construction and infrastructure. This can be discussed on an individual basis.
The course can be used to kick start improvement programs and be underpinned with additional short training sessions which can be structured to suit the needs of the individual client.
Cost: $5200.00 plus disbursements, travel, accommodation and GST.
