The New Business 101 programme is delivered over 10 weeks. The programme is designed to develop management skills to build management capability for Senior Managers, Start-up Directors, Succession Purchasers through leadership transitioning and also those businesses that need a refresher to implement best practice structure.
It is practical and interactive with each week's 3 hour classroom workshop being delivered by an expert matter coach within The Engine.

You’ll uncover your ‘Unique Selling Point’ (USP)– what makes you special and different to your competitors; Winning Marketing Strategies – learn proven low cost methods that will generate new clients for your business; Sales 7 Steps of the Sales Process – Why this is crucial to your success; How to Close a Sale that you feel comfortable with and gets you the business!
Web Development, SEO & Social Media 101 – In this session you will uncover Digitisation for your business. How to attract traffic, leads and Clients Search Engine Optimisation(SEO) versus other visitor sources; Social media Overview; an introduction to social media, the different platforms, how to make your content 'pop' and the basics you need to know with Facebook Ads to drive more people to your business
Mastering Communication and Leadership Mastering 101 - communication and leadership grows your success at a personal and professional level. We will give you the knowledge, tools and strategies to make the best from your relationships. HR 101/Recruitment 101 - During this workshop we shall cover: Common Mistakes in Hiring; an overview of the different types of employment - permanent, fixed term, casual independent contractor vs employee employment agreement principles - what must be included and what else should be included managing the 90-day trial period I could also mention / touch upon things like managing the disciplinary process, performance management, dismissals, redundancy.
Brand Development 101 & Copywriting/PR 101 - There are some essential things to consider and some steps when you look at building a brand & PR. You’ll discover what you’ll need to develop valuable insights and how to involve your team; how to define your brand’s personality; brand-positioning and how to start to sell.
The Art of Networking 101 – Networking should be an important part of any business. This workshop will have you working on pitching your 60 second elevator pitch; understanding the etiquette of Networking; Growing Business Connections; Lead Generation for BDM’s/Sales Team; LinkedIn; and how to build successful and legal Direct Marketing Databases.
The investment of this workshop is $5000 + GST per person. All materials and workbooks are included.
