nVestigate Snapshot is a one on one programme that trains business managers to conduct a 360 degree assessment of their business using the Business Model Canvas tool.

The programme covers:
1. Introduction to the Business Model Canvas in a NZ SME context
2. How to critically assess the business in terms of each of the 9 elements of the Business Model Canvas
3. How to critically assess the environment influencing the business including competitor analysis, regulatory changes, emergent threats and so on
4. Review of how the elements of the business model canvas interact and how to identify risks and disconnects
5. Comparison with other business models

At the completion of the programme the business will be able to describe their business more completely, identify parts of the business that don't support the business goals.

The programme is customised for each company and typically runs over a 3-4 week period during normal business activities.

The cost is between $3000 and $6000 excl GST less

nVestigate Value is a one on one programme designed to train the leadership of a business in describing sound Value Propositions. The programme covers:
1. Introduction to the Value Proposition Canvas
2. Training users in creating "Value Personas" of their customers
3. Identifying what represents a "Gain" or a "Pain" for the customer
4. A process to prioritises Gains and Pains to understand what problems are worth solving for the customer
5. How to match the business products and services to gains as "Gain Creators" or to pains as "Pain Relievers"
6. Evaluate the Value Proposition for the products and services
7. How to describe the "Value Proposition" in clear language

At the end of the programme, the business will be able to identify the most valuable problems that can be solved for their customer, identify new customer segments that have problems that the business can solve and articulate a sound Value Proposition that is the platform for growth.

The programme is provided in a personalised manner over 3-4 weeks during normal work activities using real examples of the businesses products and services.

“Getting Ready for Export” is nVision’s ‘one on one’ programme for New Zealand businesses who need to ‘get in shape’ to follow through their export dreams.

Being ready to export is about 2 things:
1. knowing what you want to export, where you want to export it and how you will do it
2. being capable of operating as an organisation of international quality – both at home and in your chosen overseas markets

NZTE provides a range of support packages and we would recommend that businesses explore offerings from providers such as Katabolt, who offer a series of programmes to support businesses move into new markets overseas.

However, to be eligible for their support and in a good place to make the most of it, you need to be international business “ready”.
