COVID-19 has turned much of the marketing world on its head, and ongoing uncertainties make it hard to navigate. But there are always opportunities in hard times - and we're all about helping businesses make the most of them.

If you're looking for a fresh start to meet the demands of the new era, we can assist you to develop a custom built programme that first, takes you through a series of steps from reviewing or setting your marketing objectives from scratch, to taking another look at target audiences, ways to reach them, brand, messaging and positioning. We cover risk and mitigation and explore the ways that COVID-19's sociological, attitudinal and socio economic shifts might impact your communications activities.

The next phase involves building a tactical implementation plan - what will you do, when? What resources (financial and human) will it take to execute it? What tools and platforms can help you better manage, monitor and track your results? How will you manage the multiple platforms and content themes that our complex multi-channel world demands?

Finally, we help you build a Communications Calendar to ensure a consistent, cohesive programme that is structured enough to cover all the bases but flexible enough to respond to the unpredictable landscape we all now find ourselves.

Our programme includes 6 hours of coaching/consulting support to be used over the three months following the development of your plan.

By the end of the programme you will have created a marketing communications plan that aligns with your higher level strategic goals, creates message sets crafted to individual audiences, identifies rational, cost efficient and evidence-based channels to get those messages out, creates a 12 month calendar of activity, and a framework for measurement and reporting.

This programme is designed for marketers and non-marketers alike - due to its one-to-one nature, it can be pitched to suit experience and aptitude levels. These prices are for individual, custom designed programmes - we are happy to provide a price for group coaching on request.

Duration: 6 sessions over a 6-12 week period

Output: jointly created Marketing Communications Plan covering a 12 month period

Time commitment - 38 hours

- Twelve hours individual consultancy and coaching
- Twelve hours for preparation, research and between-session work
- Eight hours to finalise your plan.
- Six hours one-on-one coaching

Cost: $9,600*

The cost of this programme is based on 48 hours of fees at $200 an hour. Should the project exceed this, we are happy to work on an hourly rate basis. less

One-on-one coaching to help you plan for and navigate media issues that could impact your business.

COVID-19 presents just about every possible kind of potential crisis around.

Many businesses are at risk of being caught in negative news cycle about potential or actual cases, along with the intensive scrutiny this brings about their own systems, processes and actions. There are HR issues, health and safety issues and more, and the need for careful messaging and management has never been greater.

Brands are being slammed for non-delivery, inability to meet customer expectations, delivery delays, service issues are more. Times may be unprecedented, but customer demands continue, regardless.

All this, at a time when staffing resources are often leaner and management overwhelmed with the response itself.

We can help you to get prepared and respond with a programme that assists you to:

- Undertake a high-level risk assessment of the reputation threats specific to your business, in a COVID sensitive environment

- Prepare for the top 2-3 scenarios with a brief strategy, that covers messaging, tactics, channels (including internal and stakeholder audiences)

- Put in place the materials and resources you would need to respond quickly, effectively and efficiently in a crisis.

You'll need to invest approximately 15 hours of your time for the background work and six hours for one-to-one coaching and review.

The cost of this programme is $3500 less

The COVID-19 environment has seen seismic shifts in the public mood, attitudes and tolerance of brand behaviour.

Strategic messaging and brand positioning created pre-COVID is often out of step with this sudden new zeitgeist, whether it's CEO messaging, advertising slogans or the style/tone of communications materials.

Limits on public movement and the inability to even function as a business make production, distribution and sales harder than ever. Pre-COVID brand promises can ring hollow, and optimistic messaging feel out of step in times of uncertainty, austerity and threat.

Still, there are always opportunities in uncertainty, and businesses are carving out new niches, channels and audiences with some creative thinking and strategic investigation.

We'll help you to:

- take a look at your high level strategic and brand positioning, messaging, materials and channels and line them up against the mood of the times
- formulate a tactical plan to mitigate risk and make the most of the immediate and medium term opportunities

The programme comprises:

- three x two-hour sessions
- Advice on creating a framework to review your brand positioning, messaging and materials to ensure they resonate and give you the best chance of generating business
- an action plan for immediate next steps and identification of medium term goals.

You'll need to invest up to 12 hours in total of your time. The programme assumes 17 hours of consultancy time @ $200/hr less
