5S is a process the allows the team to construct, improve, maintain a clean, organised and productive work area. 5S also exposes errors, internal waste, ineffective work processes, inefficient time use and equipment related issues.

5S Workshops 2. S1 Sort - A place for everything.
Prepare, implement and manage Sort activities, identify and eliminate 'clutter.'

5S Workshops 3. S2 Set - Everything in its place.
Prepare, implement and manage Set activities, organise the physical work area and activities.

5S Workshops 4. S3 Shine - Cleaning with meaning.
Prepare, implement and manage Shine activities, establish routines, disciplines and habits.

5S Workshops 5. S4 Standardise - Lock the gate behind you!
Maintain routines, disciplines and habits through measurement, education and documentation.

5S Workshops 6. S5 Sustain - Continuous Improvement.
Prepare for continuous improvement, 'raising the bar!' Capture results and prepare for workshop 7.

5S Workshops 7. Celebrate 5S outcomes and share success.
