Very practical course - tailored well to where we are at on the export learning curve. Good insights and examples of pitfalls in export documentation. Feel much more capable of understanding and managing risk and compliance in exporting, and more confident in negotiating contracts accordingly.

It was good to be able to discuss terms that I had come across in my work with someone who has a lot of knowledge and could offer suggestions and confirm issues. It was also great to hear stories that apply to your own business.

I would recommend as the overall experience was good and the way everything was explained by Robyn made it easier to understand what each Term actually stands for!

I did the Simplifying Export Series with the addition of a module on FTA's, all was well organised, condensed and very informative. The information will add value to our exporting staff and confirmed, in may cases, what we are doing is correct, however, now armed with this additional information we can now improve and add strategies to aid in the exporting of our products. Hats off to Murray Painter who made the course not only informative but very pleasant to attend.

This is a very well presented course, Murray took the time to ensure I understood all aspects of what I was learning. It's very inter-active and much of it I was able to relate directly to my experiences and business. A bonus was meeting other small business owners and talking to them about how they handle the frustrations we've encountered. I would thoroughly recommend this course.

Knowledge is power, especially with shipping

I felt that the content was not really suited to modules. The session was aimed at more experienced people as it was full of jargon and acronyms. Because of these I could not follow a lot of what was being said. While we were given examples of what specific documents could look like, and those documents were explained in detail, I found it confusing as to what content was mandatory to provide. I felt that some of the content was irrelevant and therefore confusing.

I found the course informative and would recomend to people exporting. I now fully understand Incoterms and feel confident to challenge the terms we currently use.

Found the course very helpfull. The interactive dicussion made relating the course to each individuals industry easier and interesting. Was a good overview of the inco terms in the industry.

The training was very specific to my needs and provided me with the information I was after. It was a pity there were not more attendees on the course to bounce idea off of but on the flip side it meant more tailored content.
Overall a very worthwhile exercise.
